What Did The Turkey Say?!

A young man received a parrot as a gift.

However, the parrot had a terrible attitude and an even worse vocabulary.

Every word out of its mouth was rude, obnoxious, and laced with profanity.

The man, John, tried everything to change the bird’s behavior.

He spoke only polite words, played soft music, and did everything he could think of to clean up the bird’s language.

But nothing worked.

Finally, John had enough.

He yelled at the parrot, but the parrot yelled back louder.

Frustrated, John grabbed the bird, shook it, and the parrot only became angrier and more rude.

In desperation, John threw up his hands, grabbed the parrot, and placed it in the freezer.

For a few minutes, the parrot squawked, kicked, and screamed.

Then, suddenly, there was total silence.

Not a peep came from the freezer.

Worried that he might have hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the freezer door.

The parrot calmly stepped out onto John’s arm and said,

“I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions.

I am sincerely sorry for my behavior and I promise to do everything in my power to correct it.”

John was stunned by the sudden transformation in the bird’s attitude.

Just as he was about to ask what had caused such a dramatic change, the parrot softly asked,

“May I ask… what did the turkey do?”
